Climate Resilience

James Stuart is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and Chartered Engineer in the UK with over 25 years’ experience in dam safety and flood risk projects. James is a former executive general manger for water resources and dam safety and founded Climate Resilience in 2022.

His experience includes managing emerging unacceptable risk for Paradise Dam, joint author of the emergency action plan template for Queensland, technical reviews, and managing earthquakes, rare flood loading, and gate vibration events. He is a Director of the USA Hydrologic Warning Council and Chair of the ICOLD Climate Change Committee.
