Zhiming Liu

MWR General Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design

Liu Zhiming, former deputy director of the General Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Planning and Design, Ministry of Water Resources. He is a national engineering survey and design master.

He graduated from Hohai University in July 1984, and successively participated in or presided over the design of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects including the Three Gorges, the middle route of the South-North Water Transfer Project, and the Goupitan Hydropower Station.

He is a recipient of the special government allowance granted by the State Council, the Pan Jiazheng Award, and the China Outstanding Dam Engineer Award.
