Marco Conrad
AFRY Switzerland Ltd
Marco Conrad is a Principal Dam Engineer and RCC Dams Expert at AFRY Switzerland, with 25 years experience in the dam and hydropower sectors. He graduated from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 1999 and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. He has led various teams and projects worldwide, with focus on planning and design, construction, dam safety, condition assessment, and rehabilitation of dams and mass concrete structures. He is Chair of ICOLD Technical Committee on Concrete Dams since 2018, co-founded the ICOLD Young Professionals Forum, and is an active member of the Swiss Committee on Dams.
