Gianluca Gatto has 25 years of experience in design and rehabilitation of dams managing more than 20 dams of different types (concrete and earth dams), and size (up to the tallest dam in the world – Rogun Dam 335 m high as Project Manager of the Contractor’s Construction Designer). He took also part to the Kariba Dam Rehabilitation project with the Tender Design and the inception of construction works.       

From 2020 he is Director of Dam and Geotechnical Department in Speri (Italy) where he assessed the seismic behavior of more than 50+ existing high dams in Italy.
