Hydrologist with a PhD degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. As a senior researcher in K-water Research Institute (KWRI), his research focuses on understanding and modelling the hydrological processes under changing climate and watershed environment and advancing the optimization techniques of water resources in response to climate crisis. He is currently leading the projects on 1) the mid- and long-term prediction methods of cascading disasters including drought, wildfire, and flood under abnormal climate condition and 2) AI-driven dam discharge optimization techniques.
