Dr. Marcus Wishart is the Lead Water Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa and a member of the World Bank’s Global Dams and Reservoirs Team. With over 25 years of experience in water resources development across more than 30 countries on five continents, he has published over 100 papers, books, and reports, including “Laying the Foundations: A Global Analysis of Regulatory Frameworks for the Safety of Dams”. He holds a PhD from Griffith University in Australia, an MSc from the University of Cape Town, and a BSc Honors from the University of Adelaide.
