Mohan Acharya, M.Sc., PMP, P.Eng.
Mohan is a dam safety engineer with over 25 years of experience. He earned his master’s in Hydrotechnical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001 and began his career at the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority. Since 2006, he has been with Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation as Senior Dam Safety Engineer and Team Lead, overseeing the dam safety work priority program for Department-owned dams. Mohan regularly presents at international conferences, publishes on dam safety and emergency management, and currently serves as Alberta Director on the Canadian Dam Association board.
