Takashi SASAKI, Dr. of Engineering, Japan Dam Engineering Center

Member of Technical Committee “SEISMIC ASPECTS OF DAM DESIGN”, since 2012.

Research Experiences over about 30 years about the dam engineering at organizations such as in “National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management (NILIM)” belonging to “Ministry of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)” of the Japanese government.

Major research topics are the evaluation of seismic performance, dynamic analysis method of dam structures.

After serving as the director-general of NILIM, I retired from MLIT last year and have been working at my current workplace since then.
