Jean-Robert Courivaud is the embankment dam expert of the EDF Hydro Engineering Centre. Jean-Robert is a 33 years experienced engineer in the fields of hydraulics and embankment dams. He is mainly in charge of EDF embankment dams safety analysis studies, and is leading the EDF R&D effort in the field of embankment dams erosion. He is in charge of training EDF young profesionnals in the field of embankment dams safety. He is chairman of the European Working Group on Overflowing and Overtopping Erosion.
