Asist. dr. Mateja Klun is a research and teaching assistant at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, Chair of Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering, she is also a member of the UNESCO Chair on Water-related Disaster Risk Reduction. She has obtained her PhD in the field of hydraulic structures on the condition monitoring of large dams and structural health monitoring. She is also a current Chair of the ICOLD Young Professionals Network, a Slovenian representative in ICOLD technical committees A, and ad hoc committee on Gender diversity and inclusion.
