Monique Sanders is president of the National committee of the Netherlands (NethCOLD) and working for the engineering firm Haskoning. 

She works as a design leader and consultant for levee improvements and hydraulic structures in and outside the Netherland and is at the moment coordinator in the subsurface team for the Einstein Telescope feasibility project in the Meuse-Rhine Region in Europe.

Besides the projects she leads the digital way of working team within Haskoning worldwide to improve the automization and digitalisation of the geotechnical design work within the company.
