Gabriella Vaschetti holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from the Turin Polytechnic in Italy and has 53 years professional experience, of which 33 years at Carpi, a private group providing design, supply and installation of waterproofing geomembranes on hydraulic structures, where she is at present Scientific and Marketing Director. Secretary of the Working Group that prepared ICOLD Bulletin 135 on Geomembrane Sealing Systems for Dams, coordinator of two research projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers, and part of the team awarded in 2022 the ICOLD triannual Golden Innovation award, she has published more than 280 technical papers.
