M. Cagatay Kent is a Civil Engineer (MSc) with over a decade of experience, currently serving at the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works in Türkiye. He earned his Master’s degree from Auburn University in the United States, with a thesis titled “Seismic Response Evaluation of a Concrete Gravity Dam Considering Dam-Reservoir-Foundation Interaction.”

His career includes significant contributions to the construction of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and the Northern Marmara Highway Project in Türkiye. Additionally, he has been actively involved in the design of new dam projects as well as the rehabilitation of existing dams.
