Yuchun Wang,  a Professor-level Senior Engineer (Level 2), serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Ecological and Environmental Sciences at IWHR, and Director of Ecological Comprehensive Field Scientific Observation for Three Gorges Reservoir under Ministry of Water Resources. He has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial projects and has won 1 first prize and 3 second prizes of the Dayu Water Science and Technology Award, and 2 first prizes of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Environmental Protection. He has published more than 120 papers, co-authored 5 monographs and obtained 26 national patent authorizations.
